Industrial computer sports 8 serial, 3 LAN ports

Advantech's eAutomation group has added a new model to its UNO line of fanless industrial computers. The 1U-high UNO-2668 boasts eight isolated serial ports along with three LAN ports, and supports Linux and other embedded OSes, according to the company.

The UNO-2668 is available with Intel Celeron processors from 400 MHz to 1 GHz, and either 256MB or 512MB of RAM. Advantech says it supports Linux on the device, as well as Windows 2000. Windows CE 5.0 and Windows XP Embedded SP2 are available pre-installed on CompactFlash.

Advantech lists the following key features and specifications for the UNO-2668:

The UNO-2668 is available now with prices starting at $1,325, according to Advantech.
