Low-power PC/104 module runs Linux

The Cool LightRunner 2 is based on an AMD Geode GX [email protected] processor, and features four USB 2.0 ports, dual Ethernet ports, on-board sound, and 256MB of soldered-down RAM.

Lippert lists the following specifications for the Cool LightRunner 2:
- Processor — 333MHz AMD Geode GX [email protected]
- Chipset — CS5536 companion chipset with UMA (shared memory) graphics
- Memory — 256MB of soldered-down DDR SDRAM
- Display interface — drives VGA or TFT displays, using either a bit-parallel or LVDS interface
- Networking — 2 x 10/100 Ethernet

- 4 x USB 2.0 ports, one configurable has device port
- 3 x RS232/422/485 ports
- 1 x parallel printer port
- AC '97 audio, line-in, line-out, mic in

The module runs Linux, Windows XP, Windows XP Embedded, Windows CE, and VxWorks, according to Lippert.
Availability
The Cool LiteRunner 2 is available now, in quantity, Lippert says. Pricing was not disclosed.
