Acrosser has introduced a new fanless mini-ITX motherboard based on ULV (ultra-low-voltage) Celeron processors. With its built-in Via UniChrome Pro 2D/3D graphics and MPEG2 and MPEG4 hardware acceleration, the AR-B1693 is suitable for a wide range of multimedia applications, according to the company.

Acrosser says the AR-B1693 runs fanless with a 400 MHz Celeron processor, and can accommodate a 650 MHz chip with a fan. A 184-pin DIMM slot supports up to 1 GB of DDR SDRAM. The board's Via CN400 chipset includes Via's UniChrome Pro 2D/3D graphics and video controller, which boasts AGP 3.0 compliant 4x and 8x transfer modes and MPEG2/MPEG4 video acceleration.
