Ottawa Ontario — (press release excerpt) — NetWinder Inc. announces the availability of its 3×00 series hardware platform for qualified OEM companies interested in taking their own Linux-based software solution and bundling it on the NetWinder platform.

The NetWinder appliance is ideally suited for managed software providers that require a remotely manageable platform with integrated storage, security, and automated installation tools. The platform offers superior footprint and power consumption giving the software vendor a physical presence in selling their application. Supporting both Linux and Windows operating systems, the Netwinder OEM program enables software providers to create lower cost of ownership for their customers without having to develop their own specialized hardware or be exposed to normal volatilities of bundling on traditional PCs.

NetWinder Inc has a full range of solutions for desktop, wiring closet, and rack mount environments. OEM pricing starts at $699 USD.
