Ohio LinuxFest seeks presenters, sponsors
Jun 23, 2006 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsThe Ohio LinuxFest is seeking presenters and sponsors for its fourth annual event, set for Sept. 30 in Columbus. The single-day event features sessions for expert, novice, and prospective Linux users, and was attended by 700 people last year, organizers say.
Several embedded Linux organizations took part last year, including Astaro and the Linux Terminal Server Project (LTSP). This year, organizers hope to find open source enthusiasts capable of delivering educational, fun, and informative talks about free and open source software, they say.
Proposals are due July 10. Additional details can be found here.
