PowerQUICC eval kit comes with Linux BSP

The ADS-FRS-885-EVL kit includes a development board based on a 133MHz MPC885 PowerQUICC I Processor, networking peripherals, a Linux BSP (board support package), schematics, and… bill of materials.

The MPC885 is a low-cost communications processor that targets networking and industrial control applications, including VoIP phones and IP PBXs, DSLAMs, and home gateways. It is based on an embedded 8xx PowerPC core with 8KB each of instruction and data cache. It integrates the usual PowerQUICC “Communications Processor Module” (CPM), along with IPSec security accelerator, dual fast Ethernet, and USB. It clocks from 66 MHz to 133 MHz, with external bus speeds up to 80 MHz.
