Report from Korea forum on Embedded Linux and Wireless Internet

The event was sponsored by PalmPalm Technology, co-sponsored by Mizi Research, and supported by Trolltech and Opera. Nearly 500 people attended the event at which industry experts spoke about the present status and future expectation for the Embedded Linux and Wireless Internet markets.
The talks were followed by a lively question and answer session which included discussion of the prospective business model of PalmPalm Technology, a company which specializes in developing and commercializing Embedded Linux on wireless Internet appliances and integrates Embedded Linux solutions with applications and a GUI environment. In addition, many technical questions were answered by Trolltech, Opera, and Mizi Research. PalmPalm Technology demonstrated its Linux development toolkit.
Following the forum, PalmPalm Technology received continuous phone calls and emails from seminar participants requesting copies of the talks given by Dr. Minsuk Lee and James H. Suh of PalmPalm Technology, Hogne Tjemsland of Trolltech, Lars Biolesen of Opera, and Ji-su Lee of Mizi Research. Those materials are now available for online access, at www.wirelesskorea.org.
