Visteon licenses Linux-based car MP3 system

Visteon Corporation has licensed PhatNoise's Linux-based vehicle audio system (details) for a new Visteon vehicle audio system to be called the MACH MP3 Jukebox. The new device, which will enable its users to listen to MP3 and WMA music tracks through their existing vehicle audio systems, can play up to 4,000 high… quality digital audio tracks.
