After much testing the VMELinux Project's driver for the Tundra Universe II VME-PCI bridge device now supports the 2.4.x Linux kernels.

We have migrated the source code for the driver and its associated utilities into a CVS tree which may be viewed at the main VMELinux.org website.

A new C++ library is available in the CVS tree. This library abstracts away some of the details of communicating with the Universe kernel module driver.

If you are looking for a way to turn your Intel or PowerPC based VMEbus SBC into an embedded VMEbus Linux system, our driver can help.

The VMELinux Project exists to further development of a Linux kernel driver supporting the Tundra Universe II device. To the end, they offer the driver, utilities, example programs and edit the “Linux VME-HOWTO” documentation.
