Microsoft Windows Media Technology ported to Linux

Alcatel adopts Linux for next generation telecom equipment

Sharp to launch location-based services for Linux PDAs

Sony and BMW eye Linux for playthings

CNET Asia reports that Sony is strongly considering using embedded Linux as the operating system inside the next major version of its popular game console, the PlayStation 3, due out in 2005.
