ARM920 SBCs support Linux-based embedded apps

Both the SBC-2440-I and SBC-2440-II are supplied with support for Linux 2.6, according to the company.

Both SBCs are based on a 400 MHz Samsung S3C2440A microcontroller with 64 MB each of SDRAM and NAND flash. The SBC-2440-I also includes 1 MB of NOR flash (2 MB optional).

Other features common to both boards include:
- SD/MMC slot
- USB host and device
- LCD interface — STN or TFT, up to 1024 x 768
- Touchscreen interface
- Audio — mic in, line out
- 10M Ethernet
- RS232 on 9-pin D connector
- 3 x serial ports on 14-pin header
- 4 x programmable LEDs

Both SBCs are supported by Linux 2.6.13 kernel source and a Windows CE 4.2 BSP, the company said.
The two SBCs appear to be shipping now. The SBC-2440-I is priced at $319, and the SBC-2440-II is $279.
