eCosCentric has certified ports of Jungo's USB stacks to its small-footprint, open source embedded OS. The Jungo Embedded USB Software Stacks for eCos include OTG (on-the-go), host, and device stack implementations said to comply with USB 1.1 and 2 standards.

Jungo's USB stacks and development tools have long supported Linux and other OSes, but have not previously been available for eCos. The company last updated its user-space PCI and USB toolkits in April.

eCosCentric describes Jungo's USB stacks as stable, mature, technology that supports popular silicon from Philips, Cypress, Atmel, Synopsys, and others; has a small memory footprint; and supports standard OHCI, UHCI, and EHCI interfaces. Additionally, the Jungo stacks are characterized as highly portable, modular, and well-documented, making them adaptable for proprietary and custom implementations.

Jungo's marketing manager of software tools, Omry Ben David, said, “Jungo's USB stacks' strength lie in their complete feature set, and broad hardware support.”
