Accepted submissions could range from products that are being delivered in large quantities to a product still under development, say the organizers. So far, the only announced exhibitor is Bug Labs, which recently introduced a modular, open source embedded computer system called Bug (pictured above).
According to the Linux Garage web page, priority will be given to “small or pre-production projects that hearken back to the earliest days of Linux while at the same time giving us a glimpse into the future.” Winning submissions will demonstrate “originality” and “the ability to generate interest.”
Stated Melinda Kendall, VP and GM, LinuxWorld/NGDC, “The Linux Garage will be the must see area for developers, media, and every attendee with a little bit of geek in them to check out the latest developments in Linux technology.”
