A publisher of free training materials has released a presentation on open source benefits in embedded computing. The 48-page presentation from Free-Electrons looks at open source from the perspective of developers, managers, companies, content providers, and end users, and includes challenges as well as… benefits.

Free-Electrons publishes its materials under a Creative Commons license.

Additionally, Free-Electrons has published a nifty New Year's card that is free for use and modification. The card depicts a pair of penguins happy to be outside in any temperature, while a background image associates Microsoft with rising fuel costs and inflation.
