Seminars move developers from proprietary RTOS to Embedded Linux

Sunnyvale, CA — (press release excerpt) — MontaVista Software Inc. is sponsoring three half-day seminars for embedded software developers in Florida, Washington and Canada. The seminars, entitled 'Moving from a Proprietary RTOS to Embedded Linux,' will be held in Boca Raton, Fla. (Hilton Garden Inn) on Tuesday, April 23; in Bellevue, Wash. (Hilton Bellevue), on Wednesday, April 24; and in Ottawa, Canada (Holiday Inn Select), on Tuesday, April 30. All seminar times are from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. local time.

Attendees of MontaVista's seminars will understand why Linux is ideal for the widest array of applications. They will be able to compare the distinct choices of a proprietary RTOS versus MontaVista Linux, experience the MontaVista Linux cross development environment with hands-on demonstrations, and learn about MontaVista real-time options for Linux.
