Jun 13, 2005 — by Henry Kingman — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsThe annual Smartphone Summit returns to San Francisco this Fall, with a one-day “Smartphone Summit” for developers followed by a two-day “Enterprise Mobility Pavillion” for users and IT professionals. The developer Summit includes sessions on smartphone applications and operating systems, including embedded Linux.
The one-day developer Summit is set for Sept. 26, at the W Hotel on Second and Howard. The “Enterprise Mobility Pavillion” will be held Sept. 27-28th, at the Moscone Center just down the street.
Conference organizers say the developer Summit will offer sessions on the latest smartphone technologies, solutions, hardware, software, and accessories. Targeted software platforms include Linux, Windows Mobile, Symbian, palmOne, and RIM.
“The amount of requests for speaking opportunities have been staggering, yet only the most innovative and informative sessions will make it to the conference,” organizers say.
Further details on attendance, vendor participation, and speaking opportunities are available on the event's website.
