Free tables available for embedded open source showcase
Mar 17, 2010 — by Eric Brown — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 1 viewsThe CE Linux Forum (CELF) is once again sponsoring a free technical demonstration room for embedded open source projects at this year's Embedded Linux Conference (ELC) on Apr. 13 in San Francisco. Demonstrations should cover embedded technology that offers software available under GPL or LGPL compatible licenses, says CELF.
The OSS technical demonstration showcase will be held on the second day of the three-day ELC conference, Apr. 13, from 6:30-8:30 PM, says CELF. The conference itself runs from Apr. 12-14 at the Hotel Kabuki in San Francisco. The tables are free, but at least one person associated with the booth must be an ELC registrant. (Others can help run the booth, but can't attend the conference.)

The ELC event will feature keynote speeches from Greg Kroah-Hartman and Matt Asay, and offer over 50 sessions on embedded Linux topics including flash file-systems, RT-Preempt, security, Moorestown, and Android. (For more details, please see our earlier coverage, here.)
