Smartphone Summit heads for San Francisco
Aug 25, 2004 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — viewsSmartphone Summit 2004, for developers and IT professionals, will happen Monday, Oct. 25, coinciding with CTIA Wireless IT & Entertainment 2004 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco. The Summit aims to gather the top smartphone-based enterprise solutions covering all smartphone OS platforms including Linux, Microsoft, PalmOne, and Symbian.
The Smartphone Summit will feature talks by executives from leading companies and analysts in the handheld and wireless industries including Nokia, Qualcomm, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Gartner Dataquest, HP, TTPCom, and others. An agenda of talks and session times is available on the Summit's website.
In addition to the smartphone seminar, the Summit will sponsor an Enterprise Mobility Pavilion on the CTIA show floor. The pavilion will host mobile and wireless hardware, software, and accessory manufacturers as well as carriers and solution providers of all wireless, mobile, and smartphone platforms.
Early registration is $275 until Sept. 17 and includes free admission to the CTIA Exhibits and CTIA Keynote Addresses. After that, the price increases to $375.
