Compact ARM7TDMI based networked SBC embeds Linux

(Tokyo, JAPAN) has announced a small single-board computer (SBC) for use in embedded applications, measuring instruments, power appliances, and inspection devices. The SBC-8023 SBC, which features Embedded Linux as its standard operating system, measures 90 x 60 x 20 mm (see… photo).
The compact SBC contains a 32-bit ARM7TDMI RISC processor, 4MB Flash, and 8MB DRAM. Its I/O interfaces include 100/100 Ethernet, two RS232 serial ports (230 kbps), and 8 bits of digital I/O. A 16-bit bus expansion connector is also provided. Typical power consumption is 500 mA.
