Strategic Test Corp. announced a dual-channel digitizer/oscilloscope PCI Express card for the test and measurement market. The Linux-compatible UF2e-3027 is equipped with two 100MS/s, 12-bit analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) that are said to sample simultaneously.

The UF2e-3027 includes 32 MegaSamples of on-board memory, expandable up to 2 GigaSamples, which Strategic Test says could enable the recording of signal lengths of up to 10 seconds. Notable features of the UF2e-3027 are said to include dual-timebase sampling, synchronous digital inputs, asynchronous digital I/O, and the capacity to synchronize up to 542 channels.

The scope card is said to offer six voltage ranges per channel, from ±200 mV to ±10V, with a programmable offset of 100 percent and input impedances of 50 Ohm or 1 MOhm. According to the company, this allows each channel to be individually configured for the signal source.

The UF2e-3027 offers the following specifications:

Availability

The UF2e-3027 appears to be available now starting at $7390, with volume/OEM discounts available, says Strategic Test. Boards ship with the SBench 5.3 oscilloscope program, programming examples, and drivers for Linux (RedHat, Fedora, SuSe, Sarge), as well as Microsoft Windows Vista, XP64, XP. Software Development Kits (SDKs) are said to be optionally available for MATLAB, LabVIEW, Agilent-VEE, DASYLab and LabWindows/CVI.
