Dual processor mobo sports 10 optical or copper GbE ports

The CB-8900 also supports two PCI-X slots through a riser card.
Six of the CB-8900's ten GbE ports are on the main board, with the remaining four on a plug-in sub-board. Three sub-board options are available, including:
- Four copper GbE ports
- Four SFP GbE ports
- Two each copper and SFP
The CB-8900 offers three sub-board options
Additionally, all ports on the sub-boards feature LAN bypass.
Aewin lists the following key features and specifications for the CB-8900:
- Processor — Two Xeon processors with 800 MHz FSB
- Chipset — Intel E7520 + 6300ESB + 6700PXH
- Memory — up to 16 GB DDR2 in four slots

Aewin also offers the CB-8900 pre-packaged in a 2U 19-inch rackmount network appliance. The SCD-8900 features two removable SATA drive bays, a 2-line x 20 character alphanumeric LCD, and a 4-button keypad on the front panel. It includes the PCI-X riser card and a 460 Watt redundant ATX power supply.
Both the board and the network appliance are supported by Linux drivers for the 82571EB LAN controller, Aewin says. Additionally, Windows XP drivers are available for the LAN controller and Intel chipset.
Both devices appear to be available now. Pricing was not disclosed.
