The Embedded Linux Consortium (ELC) is sponsoring a “Knowledge Track” on embedded Linux at the International CES 2004 computer electronics trade show Jan. 8 – 11 in Las Vegas, and is soliciting proposals from speakers and panelists on a number of topics related to embedded Linux.
The ELC's embedded Linux track will comprise five sessions, and the ELC is currently accepting speaker and panelist proposals for all:
- L1 – Value Propositions; Pitfalls & Success Stories (Lecture)
- L2 – Real-Time Linux (Panel Session)
- L3 – Linux Goes to Market: Designing Successful Embedded Linux Products (Panel Session)
- L4 – Open Source Licensing: What You Need to Know (Lecture)
- L5 – Boosting Power Management, Linux-Style (Panel Session)
More information about each session can be found on the International CES Web site, here. You need not belong to the ELC to submit a proposal.
The ELC says that its CES 2004 sessions reflect an extraordinary and unprecedented opportunity in consumer electronics as digital convergence makes its mark.
