Sharp Linux/Java PDA comes to Davis, Calif.

The Linux Users' Group of Davis, CA has announced that Bill Kendrick, open source software developer and creator of a number of games and applications for the Agenda VR3 Linux-based PDA, will be discussing Sharp's new “Zaurus” SL-5000 Linux/Java-based PDA at the Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), which meets in Davis, California (near Sacramento,… and about 1.5 hours east of the San Francisco Bay Area). The meeting, which is open to the general public, is being held on December 17 and begins at 6:30 pm. The location is at the facilities of Z-World, 2900 Spafford St., Davis, CA 95616.
