The Webinars will highlight the company's LinuxLink embedded development services, and will cover basic and advanced topics, the company says.
TimeSys says that the Webinar topics are based on feedback from its Developer Exchange online community. Topics and times include:
- Navigate the open source community — How to find software, tools, projects and repositories. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 at 1:00 PM Eastern / 10:00 AM Pacific time
- Create a kernel and root filesystem — Tips and tricks for creating a kernel and root filesystem, including minimizing the root filesystem size, and kernel, module, and application debugging. Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at 1:00 PM Eastern / 10:00 AM Pacific time
- Real-time extensions — An example project shows how to integrate them. Tuesday, March 21, 2006 at 1:00 PM Eastern / 10:00 AM Pacific time
- Field upgradeability — Addition, removal or upgrade of services and applications after deployment, using “ipkg” as a run-time package management platform. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 at 1:00 PM Eastern / 10:00 AM Pacific time
