Yopy 3700 now shipping?

May 30, 2003 — by LinuxDevices Staff — from the LinuxDevices Archive — 2 views

[Updated June 2, 2003] — Rumor has it that the Yopy 3700, announced last October, is now available for shipment. A visit to the website of G.Mate, the maker of the YOPY, doesn't turn up much detail about exactly when and where the latest units are shipping — but there are links to three European locations where Yopy can be ordered, in Austria, France, and the U.K.. Additionally, there's a lively discussion on this topic over at Slashdot. Further details on the latest Yopy PDAs are available here: YP3500 / YP3700.

Note: At the moment, US customers may purchase the Yopy on G.Mate's website for US$449 for YP3500, $499 for YP3700, a G.Mate spokesperson said.

NEW: A presentation about G.Mate's new Yopy 3500/3700 Linux PDAs is available here.
