ARM Developers Conference preview

According to conference organizers, the three-day event will demonstrate a growing interest in a wide variety of applications for ARM processors, “going well beyond ARM's traditional wireless market dominance.”
The conference, which takes place Oct. 19-21 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, is said to include approximately 200 classes, covering software development strategies, graphics and multimedia, power management, embedded Linux, system-on-chip (SoC) development, security function implementation, and ARM-based microcontroller development.
At one of the conference's special events — the “Product Lift-Off” on Oct. 19 — more than a dozen participating companies will present their latest breakthroughs in ARM-related graphics/multimedia hardware and software, software debug, SoC, microcontroller, and security applications.
