Mobile video broadcast conference seeks speakers

The second annual “GSPx — TV to Mobile” conference is set for Mar. 29-30, 2006 in Amsterdam, and will feature tutorials, as well industry papers describing real-world implementations of compression and broadcasting standards.
Suggested paper topics in mobile TV broadcasting include:
- DVB-H (digital video broadcasting for handhelds)
- DMB (digital multimedia broadcasting)
- ISDB-T (integrated services digital broadcasting)
- MediaFLO
- 3G (third generation mobile broadband)
- Others
Suggested topics in video compression include:
Prospective speakers should submit 500-word abstracts prior to January 16, 2006. Acceptance notifications will be sent by January 31, and selected speakers are expected to send their photo-ready paper by February 10th.
