Pentium mini-ITX system supports Linux

Axiomtek is shipping a mini-ITX board that supports Intel Pentium-4 and Celeron processors, along with a rolled steel micro-box with 180-Watt ATX power supply. The SBC86800 board supports Linux, and along with the EM603201 case, targets industrial and consumer computing applications such as personal video recorders.

Features of the SBC86800 include:

  • Socket 478 supports Pentium 4 (2.8 or 2.6GHz) or Celeron (2.5 or 2.0GHz) for 400/533 FSB
  • 184-pin DDR 200/266 DIMM up to 1GB

Features of the EM603201 case include:

  • Supports mini-ITX/Flex ATX SBCs
  • 1 x 3.5 HDD slot, with a second HDD optional
  • Two PCI slots
  • Optional acrylic front panel
  • 180-Watt ATX power supply
  • 13.2 x 9.8 x 3.5 inches
  • System fan

Axiomtek's director of marketing, Kit Chui, said, “The SBC86800 and EM60320I are perfectly suited for applications requiring integrity of platform performance in a wide mix of industrial and consumer operational environments."
