Witnet announced development of “ModaPhone,” a wireless VoIP solution which enables phone calls from wireless devices via the Internet. According to Witnet, the new software supports several wireless standards including 802.11, GPRS, and CDMA, and enables VoIP calls to other computers and wireless devices running the ModaPhone software, as well as calls to cell phones.
